double standard and biased narratives

Ukraine proxy war and US-Israeli onslaught of civilian populations in the Gaza strip are the two latest examples of western binary mind and the double standard in international relations. Two years after the launch of Russian military special operation to stop NATO’s expansion eastwards and the denazification of Kiev regime established 10 years ago by the United States and its proxy European Union, and more than four months after the US-Israeli military campaign in occupied Palestine aimed at extermination and annihilation of Palestinians, the entire world discovers the pervasive western propaganda and how its mainstream media manufactured biased narrative when it comes to these two conflicts. During its past endless wars of aggression in Iraq, in Serbia, in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, as worthy heirs of Josef Goebbels’s methods and techniques of propaganda, the western propaganda thanks to subservient mass media fed by narratives manufactured especially by pervasive intelligence services and numerous agencies specialized in the psychological warfare, whose main objective, brain whitewashing was working to demonize the enemy, to create the image of hatred leaders and to manufacture consent in public opinion. Before the advent of the internet, the west, through its powerful news agencies, had the full control of information and the monopole to create narratives and stories serving to legitimize its military campaigns. The advent of the web was a game changer as everyone can research and collect his proper source of information thanks to the multiplication and proliferation of independent sources of information in order to form his proper opinion concerning the military conflicts waged by the West. Thanks to the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, the US crimes in Iraq was leaked and the public opinion discovers the horrors, the brutality, the cruelty and the barbarity of the West established as a giver of lessons of morality to the world. Today, thanks to abundant independent sources of information every minded person, watching or listen to the mainstream media is able to discover and to distinguish by himself the true from the false and the biased narratives concerning the western proxy war in Ukraine and the US-Israeli crimes in occupied Palestine.

Historian and author Dr. Gerald Horne is right and deserves to be known and read by naming the things by their names as saying “  The crisis goes beyond just the media, Horne argued, saying it is a crisis of “the entire capital system” and is part of “the inevitable demise of capitalism.” In fact, if capitalism survived its periodic and cyclical crisis as depicted by Marx in his seminal work, the Capital, it is because of two determinant factors,(1) imperialism and colonialism in order to control and to steal the huge wealth of mineral resources outside EUROPE and North America, (2) the manipulation and the reap of the masses by political propaganda researched and as very well explained by these two authors, the Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernay in his seminal book published in 1928, “propaganda,” with this very telling subtitle, “how manipulating public opinion in democracy” and Serge Tchakotine, from Russian descent, in his voluminous book “the reap of the crowd by political propaganda”. In this time, the former colonizing peoples and regions all over the world, in particular in Africa, are realizing and are becoming aware that the main cause of their chronic under development is due to the plunder and the theft of their underground riches, the very precious mineral and agricultural wealth and by the way, the new generation in Africa is waking up, determined to accomplish a second struggle for independence as we have seen last year during the second summit Russia Africa at St Petersburg with the very historical speech of the Burkinabe young president Ibrahim Troaré calling the African people to take their destiny in their hands without waiting for former colonizers’s aid. When it comes to the manipulation of the masses by political propaganda, capitalism shouldn’t survive so long without manipulating the human psychology by the mass media of communications(MMC) which always were the monopole of under the control of big capital and financial corporations whose main objective consists of manipulating and influencing the choice of the voters called to vote in spite of themselves for the same ruling class and for its corrupt political establishment. The emergence of internet early XXI century giving place to diversification of sources of information and analysis, the monopole of political propaganda by the ruling class and the political establishment has been undermined, that is why the western governments in Europe and North America were eager since 20 years to restrict the so called free of speech, to control internet and to silence the dissident voices through legislations witnessed by the latest European legislation called Digital Acts Services(  DAS) promoted by the French commissioner André Breton.

Israël Hamas conflict : Western binary mind

The current conflict between Israel and Hamas is a practical academic exercise of how propaganda works in general and the west binary mind in particular allowing a comparative with the ongoing Ukraine’s conflict and even back to all bloody wars waged by US and its European vassals Yugoslavia 1999,Iraq 1991, 2003, Libya, Syria. In the western mainstream media, so called journalists and one-sided pundits are just reading the script transmitted by NATO’s psychological warfare making believe to naïve and manipulated public opinion that on the morning of February 24, 2022, Putin, who, get bored after waking up, decided to launch military operation in Ukraine. Giving the main of propaganda aiming at manipulating and hyping and not rationally explaining the facts, the origin of the conflict which is US and European backed coup in Kiev in 2014  has been hidden allowing the spread and the dissemination of NATO’s binary narrative of Russian’s war of aggression against Kiev’s regime depicted as peaceful victim. It the current Arab Israeli conflict, western mainstream media are resorting to the same technique and manipulation of public opinion in US, its European and Israeli vassals aimed at hidden to the public opinion the roots of the present war in the Middle East going back to Balfour Declaration in 1917 supporting the creation of Jewish state in Palestine, becoming effective in 1948, the colonization of and usurpation of Palestinian lands. The binary mind, biased and one sided narrative appear when the western corrupt elites and their subservient mainstream media call the Ukrainians to resist till the last Ukrainian what they call Russian aggression while the same political establishment in US and Europe call Hamas terrorist organization to not resist Israeli colonisation and its war of aggression that lasts since the creation of the Jewish state in 1948. While Netanyahu promised to transform Gaza into Rubbles and qualified the Gazans as “animal humans” the question that begs, what would be the reaction of the West if Russia has transformed the capital Kiev into rubbles ?

« NewsGuard’s rating of news outlets generally labels mainstream Western media as trustworthy, while outlets linked with governments opposed by the US are branded deceitful ». If we take a look at NewsGuard’s advisors, who are notorious propagandists for US and NATO’s endless wars, we can say without making a mistake this self proclaimed desinformation watshdog is in no position to judge Russian, Chinese, iranian and North Korean media accused of propaganda.This false distinction between western media whose mission is only to « inform » and « enlighten » the public and the media of the « others » relies on this also false idea that in the so called western democracy, there is no propaganda, there is only objective and pluralist news as opposed to what is falsly called authoritarian regimes and dictatoship where there are neither objective news nor pluralist information because there, the mass media of communication are simply controlled by government or party. Let us take one example the BBC controlled by the British government, which served as propaganda tool to manipulate the English public, making believe that Saddam Hussein had a nuclear plan and using weapon of mass destruction. Private and public mainstream media in the West resorted to the techniques and methodes implemented by Josef Goebbels during the WWII, the psychological warfare aimed at manipulating the western masses and to legitimize US and NATO’s wars of aggression against Iraq in 1991, yugoslavia in 1999, Afghanistan in 2001, invasion of Iraq in 2003, destruction of Libya in 2011, invasion of Syria disrupted by Russia intervention along the legitimate syrian government. In France, the mainstream media are controlled by 9 billionnaires including two arms manufacturers, Dassault and Lagardère. thanks to those media of billionnaires, Macron who was obscure trader working for Rothchild bank, became president. Last but not least, Julian Assange who exposed US crimes in Iraq is currently waiting for his extradition to the United States where he will be sentenced to 175 years of prison.

Glimpse on the BRICS

Very informative post giving a glimpse on the BRICS in general and the consequences of its expansion. Contrary to western propaganda and hype on the 15th BRICS summit in Johannesburg, this global south does  represent a real danger neither for global capitalism which continues its own path as usual thanks to US financial and economic institutions set up in Bretton Woods in 1944 and its corollary the dollar supremacy in commercial relationships between the global south and the global north, nor real threat to endless wars waged by US and its European vassals as one can observe today in African continent as the former colonizers have always their puppet regimes playing the role of western gendarme. That can be confirmed by this remark of the author “ It is important to understand that BRICS does not want to reverse globalization or take over the global economic order. In some ways, it even wants to preserve the existing order more than the US does”

Having said that, the only very consequence of the BRICS enlargement is related to SANCTIONS imposed on recalcitrant countries and regimes which refuse to kneel to western sanctions as witnessed by those imposed on Cuban and Pyongyang regimes, Iran and Russia today mainly after the special military operation in Ukraine, criticized Tuesday by Italy’s former PM Conte as damaging Italian businesses; Consequently, BRICS’s expansion will make much less efficient as the new members would not implement future sanctions imposed on Russia for example.

Of course, Modi’s regime and Indian brainwashed elite will not go without instrumentalizing this event aimed at more exacerbating nationalism that’s is gonna go up a notch since Bharatiya Janata party took over the power in India in 2014.India became the most populous nation on the earth with 1,4 billion surpassing China. After its independence in 1947, India was the founder in of the Non-Aligned Movement which had its origins in the 1947 Asian Relations Meeting in New Delhi and the 1955 Asian-African Conference in Bandung, Indonesia. India also participated in the 1961 Belgrade Conference that officially established the Non-Aligned Movement. India of the time had friendly relationships with the USSR.

Western propaganda looks at India like a democracy which is not, its political system is imported from its colonizer English system to be considered a mere representative parliamentarism with elections at Olympic Intervale and two headed single party ruled by subservient politicards working for the interests of the wealthy and the few. As witnessed by reactionary and pro business policy of Modi government, the nefarious Farm laws bluntly privatizing Indian agriculture putting the Indian peasants under the control of Agrobusiness multinationals similar to control of Ukrainian agriculture and its underground wealth by Blackrock and Monsanto in Ukraine. Comparing with today’s foreign policy implemented by Modi’s regime since 2014, India cease to be nonaligned country to become a mere puppet of the West and a tool into its hand in geopolitical rivalries by participating regularly in joint military drills with the USA in the Indo Pacific region to fight China and to contain the so called China’s imperialism in the south China sea and mainly in African continent.

HOW RUSSIA HAS FOILED NATO’S PLANNED ATTACK ON HER TERRITORY USING UKRAINE AS SPEARHEAD

One month ago, February 24, Russia’s Putin launched what Moscow called a limited military operation with two main objectives, to disarm and denazify Ukraine. In order to brainwash the western public opinions, to manufacture consent and to silence dissenting opinions, NATO imposed unprecedented censorship of all media banning Russian outlets medias, RT and Sputnik among others. Control of narrative on Ukraine is aiming at slashing from the collective memory all deadly and bloody wars waged by NATO since 30 years all over the world and by focusing only on the ongoing «war of agression» and «invasion» of «independent state» by «Putin’s army»

For western propaganda, Putin is presented as crazy and mindless by ordering military operation in neighbouring Ukraine. It will be unthinkable that the man who ruled the destiny of Russia during 22 years ordered the military to take action without a context and circonstances pushing to send Russian armed forces there. Instructed by the history of the collapse of the Soviet Union on one hand and by the current encirclement of Russia’s borders by NATO’s bases in eastern Europe, Putin has took the right decision at the appropriate moment to quell agressive and expansionist western hybrid war. This is global conttext that pushed Putin to move against Ukraine. But there is another factor that played key role in Russian military operation, often hidden from the public eye, a planned and already attack by NATO against Russian territory through Ukraine used as a rear base.

 

In fact, during a briefing on Thursday,Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Washington’s was enraged because the plan to turn Ukraine into anti-Russia » and use it as a bridgehead for delivering all types of strikes » on the territory of the Russian Federation failed. »

« Apparently, it was not expected that Russia would withstand this blow, and the aggressive rhetoric and personal insults reflect internal turmoil, uncertainty, irritation with the fact that it did not work out, as it always worked before, and as it was planned this time, » the diplomat noted.

Russia’s military exercices that took place during the weeks preceding military operation were but a response to NATO’s already planned attack on Russian territory since 2014 coup d’etat and the integration of Crimea into the Russian federation.

On February 19 in Munich, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy made his threat to deploy nuclear weapons on Ukrainian territory. He expressed this as his unilateral revocation of the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, although Ukraine was not a signatory of the agreement. Two days later on the evening of February 21, Putin made his speech recognizing the sovereign independence of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and the start of the military campaign in the Ukraine. He explicitly referenced Zelenskyy’s Munich nuclear weapons pledge: “This is not empty bravado,” Putin stressed in his speech.

 

It now begins to become more clear that Putin had serious reason to react at the Ukraine nuclear threat. A Ukrainian nuclear missile within six minutes of Moscow would present existential danger whether Ukraine were in NATO or not.

The primary bomb research facility was located  at the National Scientific Center, “Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology.” As of this writing reports of fierce fighting underway between Russian forces and neo-nazi Ukrainian Azov fighters who reportedly are planning to blow up the research reactor site and blame it on Russia. [v] The battle for control of the large Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is also apparently part of the attempt to conceal the illegal Ukraine bomb project.

 

For years Washington moved one after the other former Warsaw Pact countries including Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Hungary, Baltic States into NATO and closer to striking distance to Russia.After the demise of the USSR, Nato’s members passed from 16 to 30 members.

 

Kiev coup regime proceeded after February 22, 2014 to wage a war of extermination and ethnic cleansing of Russian-speakers in eastern Ukraine, led to a large degree by a private army of literal neo-nazis from Pravy Sektor (Right Sector), the same ones who ran security in Maidan Square and launched a reign of terror against Russian-speaking Ukrainians.  Battalions were formed of neo-nazi mercenaries. They were given official state status as “Ukrainian National Guard” soldiers, the Azov Battalion, financed by Ukrainian mafia boss and billionaire oligarch, Ihor Kolomoisky, the financial backer of Zelenskyy as president.

 

There was more. Ukrainian press reported a year ago about new Western-built de facto NATO naval bases in Ochakov and Berdyansk as, “modern infrastructure facilities capable of receiving ships of all types, equipped according to NATO standards and built with the money of the alliance countries.” The media boasted, “In three years we will be able to strike at Russian ships in the Black Sea with our mosquito fleet. And if we combine with Georgia and Turkey, the Russian Federation will be blocked,’ Ukrainian military experts boasted.

 

There was more. In addition, the US Pentagon had no less than eight, perhaps as many as 30 top-secret bioweapons research labs across Ukraine testing DNA of some 4,000 military volunteers. Once Russian soldiers moved to secure the evidence, the US Embassy in Kiew deleted previous mention of the sites from its website, and Ukrainians reportedly moved to destroy the lab evidence. Ukrainian labs in Kharkiv and elsewhere were operating in cooperation with the United States. Stocks of such weapons were being secretly  stored in direct violation of international conventions.

 

A full month before the Russian military action on 22 February in Ukraine, independent biowarfare researcher, Dilyana Gaytandzhieva, obtained documents detailing “US Pentagon biological experiments with a potentially lethal outcome on 4,400 soldiers in Ukraine and 1,000 soldiers in Georgia. According to the leaked documents, all volunteer deaths should be reported within 24 h (in Ukraine) and 48 h (in Georgia).” She details the human experiments, which include testing for antibodies against some 14 pathogens including  Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, Borrelia species (Lyme disease) and others. According to the documents the labs in Ukraine and Georgia are part of a Pentagon “$2.5 billion Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Biological engagement program which includes research on bio agents, deadly viruses and antibiotic-resistant bacteria.”

THE LATEST HYPE OF WESTERN NARRATIVE: RESISTANCE,CONTAIN AND ATTACK OF UKRAINIAN ARMED FORCES

Of course, NATO is not engaged directly in Ukraine, it is arming Ukrainian Armed forces and training foreign mercenaries brought in the country to fight the «invaders», the so called «Putin’s army». But NATO’s non lethal weapon that annihilated Russia, is the infowar and the western unrivalled and unparalleled methods and techniques of propaganda that have been improved and developed thanks to the endless wars waged by the United States and its allies since the end of the WWII and chiefly since the demise of the USSR 30 years ago.

 

By listening to the western propaganda,especially during prime time,we have in the menu of TV news, the evil and crazy Putin, inefficiency and disorganized Russian army killing innocent civilian, sowing death and destruction in the besieged city of Mariupol, and but least not last, the heroic resistance of Ukrainian people who don’t hesitate to bear arms to fight the «Russky». Military high ranking, paid journalists list the Russian human and material losses presented in such a way obliging the viewers or the listeners to draw the inevitable and previsible conclusion that the Russian army has bogged down and even has lost the «war». This is psychological warfare waged by the West in order to hide its powerless and its incapacity to influence the course of events on the theatre of operations while in the past it was the west that commanded the course of events.

Over the past days, we are witnessing the latest hype of western propaganda fabricated by the US Pentagon according to which, Ukraine’s armed forces not only resist to the Russians advance but they take the initiative to contain and even to attack Russian armed forces.

 

Don’t be fooled by western narrative and its powerful psychological warfare. The Russian armed forces have achieved complete theatre control in many key areas, destroying the capacity of the Ukrainian armed forces to operate the types of major coordinated defensive and counter-offensive operations that would be necessary to reverse this fact. Even if major ground operations were successful, a large part of Ukraine’s heavy military equipment has been destroyed and the Russians will still have complete air superiority. The destruction of NATO tarining center in Ivarivo is an example of Russian control of Ukraine’s space.

 

Western media outlets harbour the illusions that the Russians can be defeated militarily and that NATO will protect and support them. Meanwhile, the longer and more intense the futile resistance of what remains of the Ukrainian armed forces goes on, the greater and more enduring the destruction and suffering will be. The only winner will be the United States and NATO , its military wing that caused the ongoing conflict with Russia and responsable for huge destruction and death in Ukraine.

IS PUTIN CRAZY AND MADMAN BY LAUNCHING SPECIAL OPERATIONS IN UKRAINE?

Following Russia’s special operations in Ukraine, NATO is using like in its previous wars in Yugoslavia and Libya, what we can call it,information bomb or non lethal weapons. NATO’s strategy of deception,propaganda and psychological warfare take root in Goebbels’s basic principles, propaganda minister for Hitler Third Reich. When reading these propaganda principles, keep in mind that they were applied in wartime (WWII) and involve issues that don’t arise otherwise. It’s a long list, but Goebbels was dealing with the complexity of an all-out war. While reading them you may realize that some of the principles are generally applicable and not limited to wartime. Some might be quite familiar today.

 

Those basic principles can be summarized as follow:

1 -Avoid abstract ideas – appeal to the emotions.

  • Constantly repeat just a few ideas.
  • Use stereotyped phrases.

4-Give only one side of the argument.

5-Continuously criticize your opponents.

6-Pick out one special « enemy » for special vilification.

 

The objectives to be achieved are :

  • Hide economic and strategic interests at stake
  • Obscure history of the conflict
  • Demonize and transform victim into aggressor
  • Monopolise the airwaves
  • Prevent debate and silencing dissent

 

RUSSIA’S SECURITY CONCERNS AT THE ORIGINS OF PUTIN’S DECISION

  • The starting point of Putin’s decision is the coup carried out in 2014 followed with all those events in Crimea and in the south-east of Ukraine, in the Donbass, where people did not support the coup
  • The Kiev authorities began to conduct military operations on those territories. There were « two punitive operations » conducted, during which the squares of Donetsk were shelled directly, but both of those campaigns failed;

3-Afterwards, the Minsk Accords were signed, which showed a way to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. Russia was trying to make the process develop in this direction, in order to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine and protect the interests of the people, who demanded most simple things: the right to speak their native Russian language and live within their own culture.

4- Instead, the Ukrainian authorities announced the blockade of these territories in response, disconnected them from the banking system, food supplies, pensions and benefits.

 

  • Since 2014, between 13,000 and 14,000 people were killed in the Donbas during the years of the conflict, while the civilized West preferred not to notice that.

 

7-the Kiev authorities started declaring bluntly that they were not going to comply with the Minsk agreements. On top of that, they were accusing Russia of unwillingness to implement the Minsk agreements..

 

8-Then they started talking about Ukraine’s possible membership at NATO. In this case, other members of the alliance will have to support the country, which could spark a war between Russia and all of NATO.

 

9-To crown it all, Ukraine raised the topic about a possibility to acquire nuclear weapons. They said that Ukraine would receive support from across the ocean.

 

And from that moment on, the fate of Russia will be completely different. Because then Russia’s strategic adversaries do not even need to have intercontinental-range ballistic missiles. They would be able to keep us at gunpoint with nuclear weapons right here, and that was all.

 

The two main objectives of Russia’s special operations in Ukraine are : Denazification and demilitarization as the two main conditions to address Russia’s security concerns.

In 1893 was signed a treaty annexing the Hawaiian Islands, 2000 miles miles removed from the American continent. President Grover Cleveland is considered as the promotor of the “Manifest Destiny” Doctrine as he deployed ships of the United States Navy to defeat the Brazilian Revolution of 1893 in a way that helped defeat the rebels who were opposed to unequal economic relations with America.

In 1893, the United States plotted against Hawaii’s Anglophile Queen Lliliuokalani accused of anti-foreign tendencies and turning the country toward Great Britain when American Minister to Hawaii, John L. Stevens permitted the landing of American marines in support for rebels. Later the allegation that Hawaii was in danger of falling under foreign control, there was adduced no substantial evidence of acquisitive designs by Great Britain or any other power. The treaty of annexation was negotiated in 1897 after Republicans being returned to power by McKinley’s victory in 1896.

In Philippines, the United States lured the insurgent leader Aguinaldo when Americans had promised him support for Philippine Independence as a reward for his solicited military assistance; After Aguinaldo had effectively rendered his assistance he was duped and disillusioned as his promised new republic and all his political pretensions ignored. Aguinaldo protested bitterly against the forcible annexation which now seemed to him designed by the “cold and calculating thoughts of the sons of the North”. He was captured by the Americans led by Brig. Gen. Frederick Funston on March 23, 1901 in remote Palanan, Isabela Province. On April 1, 1901, he pledged allegiance to the United States.
